The All India Police Sports Control Board is a registered body registered under Society Registration Act 1957 vide Registration No. S2853 of 1965 dated October 20, 1965 under the name All India Police Sports Control Board.

Director, Intelligence Bureau, is the ex-officio Chairman of the aforesaid Board and one officer of the Rank of IG has been nominated as Secretary of the Board by the Chairman. The activities of All India Police Sports Control Board (AIPSCB) is carried by the two governing bodies namely All India Police Sports Control Board and Central Coordinating Committee of All India Police Duty Meet (CCC of AIPDM) comprising of 10 members each including Chairman and the Secretary. The member of the Board is elected for a period of two years. The elections of the Board members are held during DsGP/IsGP Conference.
