The All India Police Sports Control Board is a registered body registered under Society Registration Act 1957 vide Registration No. S2853 of 1965 dated October 20, 1965 under the name All India Police Sports Control Board.
The All India Police Sports Control Board also fields an Indian Police Team in the bi-annual World Police and Fire Games being organized at different locations around the world. The All India Police Sports Control Board provides full kit items and diet money to those sportspersons participating in various National Games and give cash rewards to medal winner of National Championship/ Games. The Board also arrange for the dope test during various sporting events conducted under the aegis of AIPSCB.
At present 51 States/ UT Police Forces and Central Police Organizations are members of AIPSCB/CCC of AIPDM
The World Police and Fire Games is a worldwide sporting event held every two years with 10,000+ attendees. The games are an Olympic-style competition of policemen and fire fighters from 70+ countries across the world that competes in 60+ sports.
The World Police and Fire Games will be held in Chengdu, China in 2019 (August 8 - 18, 2019)
